Well apparently the pesky reactor still won't start but instead of investing in staff and infrastructure the management just keep yelling about it...or something. Idk, kinda typical tbh. (Please see my podcast for the previous incarnation - google "LD50 techno" and you can't miss it)

Ok so joking aside - this is me going back to this idea but with new equipment. Recent life changes and cost of living increases have meant I kinda moved into my van a while back and have been trying to get myself a little setup to make music with in there in case this turns out to be a longer-term thing - which is when Greg (aka TF12) pointed me in the direction of the truly awesome little Roland Aira T-8 groovebox, so this is basically just the RC-505 and the T8 doing percussion.. what an amazing little box of tricks that T8 is and the 505 is obviously a *beast*. The T8 has some really neat live performance features which make doing breakdowns/buildups better and you can hopefully see that in effect here.

I've just added it's sister machine, the Aira S-1, to the setup to try and replicate some of what the 777 can do (since it's WAY too big, weird and expensive to fit in the van) and somehow now the van setup seems to actually be able to do more than the big indoor setup..go figure. So expect much more of this sort of noisy nonsense from me in future :-)
